Plan, direct, or coordinate, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Includes managers in specialized construction fields, such as carpentry or plumbing. Manage the full construction field technology life-cycle on multiple projects from start to finish ranging in size. Provide teams with Existing Conditions Survey. Support the implementation and maintenance of Site & Building Control, with Layout. Support Progress Documentation for overall quality contril. Provide monthly status and forecasting reports. Management will be of projects within our core markets: healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, life sciences and commercial. Project managers will work closely with all members of the project team, project executives and regional leadership teams and will be responsible for the following: Management of all project team members (senior project engineer, project engineers and field technicians). Mentor, develop and train project engineers/ field technicians for fast-paced growth. 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project specific field technology scope. Cost control/billings/collections/change management/cash flows/monthly status reports. Key point of contact with internal stakeholders. Challenge and support jobsite and self-perform work teams. Accountable for project completion and financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction results. Coordinate and manage the execution of planning and scheduling of field technology scopes on projects. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites within commuting distance of DPR Construction, A General Partnership’s Reston, VA office.
