Plan, direct, or coordinate, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction of structures, facilities, and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Lead all aspects of the self-performed scope for a particular project. Develop site safety plans and foster an injury free environment. Accurately plan and forecast manpower for the project, and track productivity against established goals. Control and manage projects costs with accuracy against the budget. Prepare billings and submit for payment. Manage the material procurement process to ensure materials arrive in timely manner. Lead the team and hold others accountable to commitments. Complete Monthly Status Reports (MSRs) accurately and timely; involving the entire project team to forecast costs and projected fee. Adjust resource loaded schedules based on the current project conditions with project team input. Develop, review, and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure conformance with project requirements at all project phases. Actively participate in design and trade coordination, navigate the model, and communicate escalated issues to prevent future rework. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites within commuting distance of DPR Construction’s Mableton, Georgia office.
