About The Position

The SE Business Development manager is responsible for the development of opportunities related to Conco’s Oil Services offerings. This includes expanding the brand, improving the market position and the financial growth of this business line. The SE BD Manager will work with the Sales and Operations teams to develop strategic goals centered around Oil Services, identify business opportunities, and support the proposal and execution of the Oil Services business line. The geography for this role includes Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

Requirements

  • 4-Year degree
  • Proven record of accomplishment of Business Development in same or similar business line and within an entrepreneurial company

Responsibilities

  • Provide input and feedback on proposals for Lube Oil Services. Aid in the quotation for manpower and equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals by evaluating client-provided information (i.e., drawings, blueprints, contracts, etc.)
  • Review and approve engineering developed procedures as required for rental, service, and direct sales in all markets related to Oil Services.
  • Assist the Operations team in compliance with procedures use and adherence. (Gonzales, LA & Carrolton, GA)
  • Analyze and monitor Oil Services market demands for future builds of equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain NetSuite for accuracy of Lube Oil related services data.
  • Monitor and report on profitability and recommend pricing for standard Conco rates for all line items associated with lube oil services.
  • Assist all Sales organizations throughout the sales process for Oil Services, including travel.
  • Prepare and communicate monthly reports focusing on rates vs market and profitability as it relates to Oil Services.
  • Prepare and submit Capex requests as needed to ensure we can meet client demands.
  • Assist in Sales and Marketing – Technical Lunch & Learns, Tradeshows, and Conco sponsored outings.
  • Grow Southeast Region Oil Related Sales – IE: Southern Co., Georgia Pacific, Chevron Pascagoula, Dow, ExxonMobil, and Valero.
  • Grow relationship with ExxonMobil Sales Engineers, Lubrication Engineers, and distributors in the Southeast region.
  • ExxonMobil Lubrication / Conco Services committee member.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Assist with pricing structure and proposals for Oil Services.
  • Maintain relationships and support Industrial, Power and Pre-Com Sales, and the Operations team.
  • Contribute innovation and expertise for solving clients’ problems within Oil Services business line.
  • Assist in conducting specialized training related to Oil Services for our training sales forces (Pre-Com, Power, Industrial, etc.)
