The Otis North American Field Supply Chain organization is on the lookout for a dedicated and dynamic professional to join the Field Requisitioning System (FRS) team. The Sourcing System Senior Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Field Operations and Supply Chain by ensuring timely, accurate and efficient requisitioning of materials and services. This role serves as a key point of contact for urgent field inquiries, providing high-quality helpdesk support while driving accountability, accuracy and continuous improvement opportunities. In this role you will also provide sourcing support, identifying optimal sources and supporting category management strategies. The ideal candidate combines strong customer service skills with analytical rigor, sourcing expertise, and excellent written and verbal communication. This role can be done remotely in the US but ideally in Connecticut.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain or related business function
  • Strategic planning mindset with strong analytical and tactical skills
  • Essential skills: analytical, communication, and problem-solving
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, with good interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities
  • Proficient in business processes, systems, and analytical tools
  • Excellent customer service attitude for internal and external customers
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for onsite meetings
  • Given the nature of the position, applicants must have authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the elevator industry is a plus
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct RFP/RFQ exercises on behalf of local field offices for assigned categories supporting category management strategies.
  • Ensure prompt sourcing, technical support, and competitive procurement of non-catalog items driving part visibility, control and savings.
  • Maintain a high service level (SLA) by evaluating customer demand and expediting material to meet internal/external customer needs.
  • Provide clear, accurate and timely guidance to field teams regarding requisitions, approvals, sourcing options, and system usage.
  • Apply sourcing expertise and tools to align requisitions with preferred suppliers, contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Serve as a primary support resource for FRS support, responding to urgent inquiries and escalations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Own assigned issues and initiatives from intake through resolution, demonstrating strong accountability and follow-through.
  • Analyze trends in helpdesk inquiries, requisition errors and sourcing challenges to recommend process improvements.
