About The Position

As a Sourcing Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting strategic sourcing initiatives through data analysis, supplier insights, and process optimization. You’ll transform complex spend and supplier data into actionable recommendations that help the organization reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and make smarter purchasing decisions. This role is essential in helping the sourcing team operate with clarity, accuracy, and strategic focus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or data/financial analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data modeling)
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, sourcing cycles, and supplier management fundamentals
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with sourcing or procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle)
  • Background supporting RFIs, RFPs, or RFQs
  • Experience with category management or cost‑reduction methodologies
  • Familiarity with contract management tools or supplier risk analysis
  • Exposure to process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze spend trends, supplier performance, and cost structures to support sourcing strategies
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models to track sourcing metrics and business outcomes
  • Support RFx processes by preparing data sets, evaluating supplier responses, and summarizing insights
  • Conduct market research to identify pricing benchmarks, industry trends, and new supplier opportunities
  • Maintain accurate data across procurement systems (e-Sourcing, CLM, P2P, etc.) and ensure consistent reporting standards
  • Partner with sourcing category managers to prepare business cases, cost comparisons, and negotiation analysis
  • Monitor contract compliance, savings realization, and supplier performance metrics
  • Assist in preparing presentations and materials for leadership, cross‑functional partners, and stakeholders
