Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sourcing Manager located in Henrico, VA. Reporting to the Supply Chain Solution Manager, the Sourcing Manager will be responsible for providing technical support, technical capability & accountability of diverse scope to the Procurement organization to ensure continuity of supply, supplier development, supplier readiness and improvement activities to improve the cost, delivery, response, service & quality requirements for customers. This incumbent will be the conduit between existing and targeted customers, Flex SSCM/GAM/BD, Design, and GCM. What a typical day looks like: Promote revenue generation by understanding each segment's specific business needs and developing differentiated solutions. Build relationships with the supply base to gain industry visibility and information for a compelling supply chain solution. Develop and deploy a cohesive business strategy for segment-specific products. Include all aspects of the supply chain in the strategy, such as logistics, new business development, design, supplier quality development, and commodity management. Facilitate involvement between the GCM team and Flex design. Enhance margins through differentiated component sourcing solutions. Establish effective relationships with SSCM/GAM to be involved in new business opportunities. Demonstrate technical expertise to establish credibility with customers. Develop relationships with senior individuals in the supply base to communicate and meet Flex's wants, needs, and requirements. Gain understanding of segment products and manufacturing through site visits to Flex and supplier locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 7 -10 years of sourcing/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier development, cost management, and contract negotiation, including complex supply agreements.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, including commodity management, logistics, supplier quality, and new product introduction support.
  • Advanced analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
