About The Position

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading the company’s sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management activities for direct and indirect purchases for production, and resale items to ensure timely, cost‑effective, and high‑quality procurement of materials, and goods. This role develops procurement strategies, negotiates contracts, manages supplier relationships, and collaborates cross‑functionally to support operational, financial, and supply chain objectives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
  • Experience with ERP systems (Infor-LN knowledge is preferred) and procurement tools
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Understanding of contract management, sourcing methodologies, and supply chain principles

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with international suppliers and knowledge of import operation is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Procurement & Planning: Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Strategic Procurement & Planning: Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and supply risks to optimize sourcing decisions.
  • Strategic Procurement & Planning: Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and alternative supplier/material introduction.
  • Strategic Procurement & Planning: Additional duties as assigned.
  • Supplier Management: Conduct contract negotiations to secure competitive pricing, terms, and service levels.
  • Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers; manage ongoing supplier performance.
  • Supplier Management: Establish strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply and top performance.
  • Supplier Management: Lead quarterly business reviews and supplier scorecard development.
  • Supplier Management: Additional duties as assigned.
  • Purchasing Operations: Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing data, and supplier documentation.
  • Purchasing Operations: Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and Quality teams to understand demand and forecast needs.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Support new product introductions with inventory planning, timely material sourcing, and introducing new suppliers.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Resolve issues related to pricing, delivery, or quality in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Additional duties as assigned.
  • Cost Management & Reporting: Drive cost‑savings initiatives and track procurement KPIs.
  • Cost Management & Reporting: Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts and minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Cost Management & Reporting: Prepare regular reports on purchasing performance, supplier trends, and cost variances.
