Our global team includes Category Strategy, Negotiations and Execution, Transformation, Operations, Productivity, Environmental Sustainability, Supplier Diversity, Analytics, Tools, and Program Governance. How you will create an impact The Sourcing Manager - Software will play a pivotal role in taking the lead on strategic sourcing and supplier management for all Application Software categories. Reporting to the Senior Director of Infrastructure Software Sourcing and Procurement, this position involves supporting the CIO organization and technology-focused business areas by managing a diverse portfolio that includes on-premise and cloud software, SaaS solutions, and associated services. The core of this role is to make a significant impact through strategic sourcing, effective internal stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership and communication, with key responsibilities falling under these three vital areas. Develop and/or strengthen relationships among the strategic sourcing organization, the CIO organization, and other technology focused business areas; Work with key stakeholders to develop and ensure implementation of continuous saving ideas that will reduce Company’s total cost of ownership. Utilize procurement technologies and systems to further productivity Monitoring savings and defining budgetary impact. Keep abreast of technology trends in the Infrastructure Software space, as well as overall Technology trends to drive efficiencies in current and future contracts. Negotiate commercial terms and conditions associated with Software and Saas Buys, renewals, etc. Negotiate with suppliers at C-level and ability to influence and get the best possible commercial and legal terms. Work with stakeholders (including finance) to track achieved global savings and develop methods to translate sourcing savings into budget reductions; Support legal in finalizing and executing contracts. What you’ll need to succeed 10+ years as an IT strategic sourcing professional with hands-on technology procurement experience at a company recognized as best in class in this function. Deep experience in Software & SaaS space from a technical perspective with ability to negotiate terms and apply industry knowledge to the sourcing strategy; Knowledge and experience in structuring Commercial contracts required. Demonstrable expertise in IT related strategic sourcing and procurement, with complex project management skills, with progressive view of IT management including analyzing the total value chain. Solid analytical abilities including the ability to structure complex problems and create appropriate, fact-based solutions. Requirements

  • 10+ years as an IT strategic sourcing professional with hands-on technology procurement experience at a company recognized as best in class in this function.
