Main purpose This position is responsible for leading supplier management and sourcing activities within defined categories, ensuring supply continuity, value creation, and strong stakeholder partnerships for Product Supply in Crop Science.

Requirements

  • University degree in Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing processes, supplier management, and negotiations.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills with a clear stakeholder-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to perform effectively in global, virtual, and cross-functional environments.
  • Strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and solid financial understanding.
  • Advanced level of English (written and spoken).

Nice To Haves

  • Portuguese is desirable.
  • Experience or exposure to the Crop Science business is a plus.
  • Profiles with learning agility, flexibility, and the ability to move across projects are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing and supplier management activities for assigned categories, coordinating with external suppliers and partners when applicable.
  • Proactively anticipate, assess, and communicate supply risks or constraints, working closely with Category Leadership teams.
  • Support and execute strategic sourcing initiatives in close collaboration with Category Leads.
  • Understand business needs and work closely with global, regional, and local stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, aligning objectives, driving joint initiatives, and acting as a Procurement reference point.
  • Manage supplier agreements throughout their full lifecycle, ensuring contractual compliance and effective risk mitigation.
  • Analyze market dynamics and supplier bases, providing insights that support better decision-making and competitive advantage.
  • Lead negotiations, tenders, and contract management activities to support Product Supply sites (primarily Zárate and María Eugenia).
  • Operate within defined procurement categories, including: Raw materials Indirect services
