About The Position

NEOTech is a leading provider of manufacturing technology and supply chain solutions for brand name OEMs in the industrial, medical and military/aerospace markets. The company's headquarters is based in Chatsworth, CA with additional locations in the U.S. and Mexico. This job is typically onsite Monday – Friday. Working from home is optional at a maximum of 1 day per week. NEOTech will consider experienced candidates located and willing to drive to our manufacturing location in Longmont, CO. NEOTech offers a great working environment! To learn more about NEOTech please visit: www.neotech.com. The Sourcing Analyst is responsible for supplier specific supply chain analyses. Primary responsibility is providing comprehensive pricing reports. The Sourcing Analyst will review and assess materials cost, cost reduction calculations, award tracking, key drivers and metrics to optimize the supply chain to best meet corporate and customer goals. Other responsibilities include: Extract, analyze and report data. Maintain and report key material metrics such as pricing, excess inventory management, lead time, minimum order quantity (MOQ), marketplace availability. Work regularly with suppliers to meet quote objectives. Develop and utilize quote strategy to meet customer requirements. Maintain and report on data accuracy – ensuring records are up to date as needed with specifics such as manufacturer part numbers, obsolescence notifications, supply chain issues, etc. Suggest and implement process improvements regularly. Adhere to both corporate and site level procedures, adapting to different processes as needed. Manage escalations as needed to keep projects on track. Work closely with internal functional teams: engineering, program management, purchasing, sales, and others. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or 2+ years of related supply chain experience
  • Interest in Electronics, Manufacturing, Aerospace/Defense, Supply Chain, and/or Data Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related applications
  • Must possess excellent data mining and analytical skills
  • Must be advanced Microsoft Excel user with the ability to create and work with formulas, vlookups, pivot tables
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Self-starter that is highly motivated to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Candidates being considered for hire must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test which include screening for illegal drugs and marijuana
  • Due to ITAR and / or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with supply chain management or manufacturing practices is preferred
  • Database management and coding skills preferred
  • Experience with MRP system (Epicor), Sales Force, Supplyframe (SupplyWin) and Component lifecycle software (Silicone Expert) preferred
