About The Position

This role provides the opportunity to be a key technical advisor within the sales process, helping businesses optimize their customer engagement strategies through modern SaaS solutions. You will partner closely with sales teams to understand customer needs, deliver tailored demonstrations, and develop technical solutions that drive adoption and ROI. The position requires strong technical acumen, solution-oriented thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively with C-level and director-level executives. You will collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to translate business requirements into actionable technical strategies. This role involves conducting pilots and proof-of-concepts, scoping solutions, and influencing product development. It is ideal for a dynamic, customer-focused professional seeking a fast-paced, collaborative environment with opportunities for impact.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in mid-market or enterprise software sales or solution consulting.
  • Strong ability to support clients on the East Coast and travel up to 30% as needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and writing skills.
  • Experience with CRM, contact center, or customer service technologies preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, Webhooks, APIs, JavaScript) and modern SaaS applications.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to match business needs with technical solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, establishing trust and credibility with customers.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Assess customer business needs, identify pain points, and recommend tailored technical solutions.
  • Configure and demonstrate platform capabilities to reflect each customer’s unique operations.
  • Manage pilots, Proof of Concepts, and RFI/RFP responses effectively.
  • Influence solution design and product development based on customer feedback and technical insights.
  • Maintain compliance with data protection requirements, including HIPAA where applicable.
