About The Position

Key Responsibilities Architecture Leadership Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap for retail, supply chain, and warehouse management domains. Translate business strategies into actionable solution architectures and technical designs aligned with organizational goals. Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, integration patterns, and modernization approaches (cloud-native, microservices, APIs, data platforms). Design hybrid cloud architectures supporting migration from on-premises to Azure Solution Design & Delivery Collaborate with the Delivery Lead and other team members on business development, such as sizing and estimating new opportunities, creating proposals, conducting reviews, and planning engagements. Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems within the area of responsibility, requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Independently lead a team to facilitate maturity assessments/gap analyses, solution assessment workshops, requirements gathering, design, and end-to-end implementation activities. Architect and design end-to-end solutions covering ERP, WMS, OMS, TMS, POS, a nd e-commerce platforms. Validate business requirements and conduct solution architecture and design workshops, including documenting functional and integration design, gap analysis, and solution options. Design application interfaces supporting both current and target state architectures Collaborate with existing onsite and remote teams to ensure architectural consistency Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with business leaders, product managers, and operations teams to understand requirements and shape solution approaches. Work closely with engineering, DevOps, and data teams to ensure architectural alignment and delivery excellence. Act as a trusted advisor to both internal and client stakeholders. Governance & Best Practices Establish and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, and documentation practices. Lead architecture reviews, solution assessments, and vendor/product evaluations. Ensure solutions meet compliance, security, and performance standards.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of retail business processes (merchandising, store ops, omni-channel commerce).
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain planning, order management, transportation, and logistics.
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP EWM, Oracle WMS, HighJump).
  • Proficiency in enterprise integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
  • Solid experience with Azure cloud platform and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Familiarity with data platforms, analytics, and real-time visibility solutions in supply chain/retail context.
  • Experience with enterprise platforms covering ERP, WMS, OMS, TMS, POS, a nd e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and managing vendor partnerships.
  • Experience working as embedded consultant within client organizations
  • Multi-team coordination across distributed delivery teams
  • Change management and team mentoring capabilities

Nice To Haves

  • 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in enterprise/solution architecture roles.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale IT solutions.
  • C ertifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect, or SAFe are a plus.
  • Global exposure with multi-region retail/supply chain implementations preferred.
