About The Position

The Solutions Specialist will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Microsoft Hardware and Software, fostering greater cohesion between teams and enhancing the ability to present Microsoft Solutions as a unified offering. This initiative aligns with Microsoft's FY26 rebranding strategy, shifting the focus to positioning Surface as an integral component of the full Microsoft Ecosystem Package rather than just a standalone device. By proactively integrating Surface into broader customer conversations, this role will support the growing interest in M365 Link Hardware while unlocking additional opportunities for Surface within the customer ecosystem. Requirements

  • MSFT Certifications Held: M335, Azure, Intune, Co-Pilot or to obtain within first 90 days of employment.
  • Client Hardware Technical Background (Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Etc.)
  • Sales and Technical Experience

Responsibilities

  • Own technical discussions for Microsoft Surface/M365 Link and High-Level Software offerings with customers and AMs leveraging processes and tools, demos, and programs; use consultative and/or Challenger method; establish rules of engagement (e.g., role boundaries, handoff strategies) for extended teams.
  • Build strategy: map the agreed customer vision into a strategy, resolve concerns, preventing, and removing technical blockers, and validating a strong business case for investment and translated technology complexity into business impact.
  • Work with the customer, account team, and partners to orchestrate a roadmap for implementation.
  • Drive technical assessments to create a map of the current landscape and to build the technical migration plans, thus building a solid migration business case.
  • Scale through Connection, acting as liaison between Microsoft and account team, facilitating Microsoft resources and processes; supporting partner technical capacity by identifying skill and resource gaps and providing feedback to internal teams.
  • Identify and support the creation of new pipeline within customer/AM engagements in collaboration with BDS/Champ Team.
