About The Position

OneStream is looking for a Solution Consultant to join our growing pre-sales team. A Solution Consultant will become an expert in OneStream technology and use this expertise on a daily basis to present the value proposition and benefit of the solutions to partners, prospects, customers and internally supporting the sales team. As a member of the Presales team, the Solution Consultant will participate in the design, validation, and presentation of OneStream solutions based on customer needs which vary in complexity.

Requirements

  • Background in Finance/Accounting and familiarity with business analysis and financial modelling.
  • Technical experience with OneStream or similar CPM tools.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in CPM/EPM, Database Management including building, developing, and deploying applications.
  • Proven ability in performing rapid assessments of customers’ landscape and targeting use cases and deployment targets for Cloud technology.
  • Ability to provide guidance in the evaluation of OneStream’s Cloud solution.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role such as consultant, technical solutions engineer, or solutions architect.
  • Extraordinary presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Must have the ability to lead technical discussions and identify the right solution for our customer’s needs.
  • Versed and experienced with business analysis and financial modelling.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Strong listening skills.

Nice To Haves

  • BS Degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable in Computer Science or Technology related degree.
  • Previous experience as a Services Consultant, Database Administrator, or Technical Pre-Sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Shortening the sales cycle by delivering flawless standard and custom product demonstrations to mid and C-level executives in the Office of Finance.
  • Providing presales technical/functional support to prospective clients and customers, while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision.
  • Acting as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants, Sales Development, and Sales representatives.
  • Transforming business requirements/challenges into tailored demonstrations and/or proof of concepts.
  • Presenting and articulating advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall OneStream solutions.
  • Improving/maintaining standard demo assets to ensure top-notch sales presentations.
  • Designing, validating, and presenting Database & OneStream Cloud solutions to include advanced product concepts and future direction.
  • Developing and managing references through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
