In this position you can expect to work on-site and in the field throughout the City and County of Denver, 5 days a week during the training period. Upon completion of training, you will transition to a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule, with regular overtime opportunities — averaging about 12 days per year — based out of one of our three campuses: Central Platte, Cherry Creek, or Roslyn. Solid Waste Management provides trash collection service, hazardous waste removal, recycling, and a composting program for single family Denver homes and multi-family dwellings with up to seven units, municipal facilities, and Denver Public Schools. The Solid Waste Management team is looking for Solid Waste Collection Operators to join the team.
