About The Position

In this role, you will drive growth and revenue within strategic accounts by selling enterprise software solutions that address critical business challenges. You will manage complex sales cycles, from prospecting to deal closure, and develop strong relationships with IT and business decision-makers, including C-level executives. Working across a multi-state territory, you will leverage both direct and channel sales approaches to expand market reach. Your insights into data governance, AI readiness, and database management will inform your strategy and position you as a trusted advisor to your clients. This role requires a consultative, solution-oriented approach with a focus on exceeding sales targets while supporting client success. You will thrive in a fast-paced, evolving SaaS and hybrid software environment, contributing directly to business growth and innovation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B software sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quota
  • Experience selling enterprise solutions in Data Governance, AI Readiness, Database Management, or similar technology domains
  • Demonstrated success selling to large strategic accounts with a focus on C-level and IT leadership
  • Experience managing a multi-state territory with both direct and channel sales approaches
  • Strong knowledge of data, compliance, cloud, and AI trends
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving SaaS and hybrid software environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new customers within assigned multi-state territory
  • Position software solutions to solve key business challenges using consultative, solution-selling techniques
  • Build and maintain relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and other senior decision-makers
  • Manage complex sales cycles from initial contact to deal closure
  • Collaborate with channel partners and resellers to expand market reach and drive revenue
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs to inform sales strategy
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve sales targets and maximize business growth
