About The Position

Software Quality Testers are responsible for testing out-going and developmental software to ensure they meet all requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to read, comprehend and create written test documents
• Ability to use Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems
• Mid-level computer skills
• System setup and operation troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of external testing devices, and applications, such as audio-video analyzers and various other pieces of equipment
• Knowledge and understanding of current and developing technologies
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Able to shift focus quickly when necessary
• Associates degree in Computer Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
• 1-3 years of applicable experience

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read and understand Python and other programming languages a plus

Responsibilities

• Setup, update, follow and test all products developed and manufactured at Videon
• Create and maintain software test documentation and test plans
• Log defects into the defined issue tracking software
• Package and release code deliverables to customers, following documented release procedures
• Work closely with Engineering and Project Management to efficiently achieve product milestones and deliveries
• Support company's commitment to quality and all quality objectives
