About The Position

Assist and provide users with software, hardware, and system support. Assist in the integration of new and existing systems. Perform preventive maintenance tasks as directed.

Requirements

• Full range of body movement and be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis.
• Fluent in the English language in both oral and written communication.
• Must attach Resume and current semester class schedule (weekly view)
• All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie.

Nice To Haves

• Good understanding of the Microsoft office suite and Microsoft Operating System.
• One year of college majoring in CIS or ISCS preferred.
• Understanding of Microsoft Windows Servers (i.e domains, users and groups, and Macintosh operating systems).
• Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of computer and related equipment to assure low-cost operation and effective utilization of personnel and equipment.
• Using hardware and software tools, identifies, and diagnoses difficult and complex and installation of equipment and for the transition from existing systems to new.
• Conducts complex testing and analysis of all components of systems under general supervision.
• Recommends changes in methods or procedures where necessary.
