Software Engineer (Junior)

As a Software Engineer (SDE2) at Security Compass, you will be working on SD Elements and reporting to a Software Engineering Manager. This role offers the opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team, where you will have the chance to learn and grow in software development. The main responsibilities include building new features, updating and improving existing ones, maintaining high-quality code, and assisting customers in maximizing the value of the product. The position requires at least 1 year of programming experience, along with strong interpersonal communication skills and a positive attitude. Technical skills in Python, JavaScript, MVC frameworks, Git, RESTful API design, and JavaScript frameworks/libraries are beneficial.

• Helping build new features and updating and improving existing ones
• Maintaining high-quality code through code reviews and programming
• Helping customers get the most out of the product
• Having 1+ years of programming experience, a positive attitude, aptitude, excitement about the company's mission, and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Familiarity with Python (or similar languages), Javascript, MVC frameworks such as Django, Rails, or .NET, Git, RESTful API design, and Javascript frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, Ember, etc.
