What you'll do... Position: Software Engineer III Job Location: 1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 Duties: Develop robust, maintainable, reusable code and software tools for managing configuration, deployment, monitoring, performance, scalability, availability, security and alerting for test, integration, and production environments. Work on Ad Manager Automation with a focus on designing and developing automation processes and improve robustness of framework. Build proficient automation solutions for diverse features using JavaScript frameworks and Page Object Model. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement release solutions demonstrating proficiency with Kitt deployment and Concord. Automate test cases to validate the functional code quality. Conduct Micro front-end migrations to ensure successful releases. Develop automation methods and functions using JavaScript ES6 standards while adhering to the Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) test design pattern. Build high throughput CI / CD pipelines that enable sophisticated automation workflows. Establish Grafana monitoring system to track performance and effectiveness of our automation and in house test burst reporting. Contribute to confluence documentation and participate in all release activities ensuring high quality features for end users. Perform code reviews for code quality, functional, and performance improvements. Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or related area. Skills required: Experience coding in JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages. Experience building scalable automation tools and services. Experience with web development using React JS and Node JS backend. Experience designing and automating REST APIs and GraphQL. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Experience building deployment tools including KITT, Concord, Kubernetes, and Docker. Experience developing BDD/TDD test automation and Page Object Model design. Experience testing and troubleshooting APIs using Postman and Charles. Experience using source code version control tool Git. Experience performing code reviews. Experience with monitoring systems including Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus for debugging. Experience with cloud automation solution SauceLabs. Experience with performance testing using JMeter and benchmarking results. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills. Salary Range: $117,000/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
