About The Position

Looking for a talented and product-oriented Developer to join our high-performing team at Developer Experience and GenAI Platform team. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers and product visionaries to design, develop, and deliver innovative developer platforms that drive our Developer Productivity ecosystem. As a key contributor, you will leverage your expertise in both backend and frontend technologies to create scalable, engaging, and seamless user experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI solutions, interact with global engineering teams, and contribute to our vibrant tech community. Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with solid object-oriented programming principles
  • Proven experience building production-grade, customer-facing web applications using modern frameworks: React, Next.js, and state management libraries (Redux, Context API, etc.)
  • Backend & API Development: Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs using Node.js with frameworks such as Fastify, Hapi.js, or Express
  • Experience with GraphQL schema design, query optimization, and implementing GraphQL APIs using Apollo Server or similar frameworks
  • Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Proficient with Git version control and modern release management workflows in cloud environments
  • Experience with package management (npm/pnpm/yarn) and Node.js ecosystem
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

  • Proficiency in Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like ReactJS, React Native, Redux, Webpack, and Node.js.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area

Responsibilities

  • Partner with UX designers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and co-design technical solutions
  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance membership software components for Sam's Club's global eCommerce platform, serving millions of users across multiple tenants
  • Build and maintain orchestration layers that seamlessly bridge front-end experiences with back-end REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Collaborate with architects to establish and implement technical best practices and design patterns
  • Create proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate performance optimizations and innovative solutions for complex business challenges
  • Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using React Testing Library and Jest across development, staging, and production environments
  • Deploy production-ready code to Microsoft Azure Cloud environments following established release management processes: Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues using tools like Chrome DevTools, Microsoft Application Insights, and Postman
  • Provide on-call support during peak periods including holidays and major sales events
