Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires 2 years of experience in the following: Utilizing systems programming, high performance computing or distributed systems development
Data structures and algorithms
Python, C++, Java, TypeScript, Kotlin, Rust, Qiskit, Cirq, or JavaScript
In two of the following: Quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, low-level code optimization, high-performance computing (HPC), GPU programming, real-time computing (RTC), device driver development, embedded programming, kernel development, compiler development, concurrency, Quantum computing, Classical Coding Theory, Graph Algorithms, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Numerical Algorithms, or Generative AI.

Responsibilities

Write and test product or system development code and draft designs.
Participate in and contribute to design reviews with peers or stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Identify technical problems with requirements and fix them, and address and triage commonly escalated issues.
Consistently generate the ideas required to solve ambiguous problems.
Contribute to data preparation, optimization, and/or performance enhancements.
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content, and cross-team collaboration.
Work closely with other research groups on collaborative research efforts.
Collaborate with teams of different backgrounds, including hardware engineers, electronic engineers, or research scientists.
