As a Software Developer Associate within PNC's Retail Tech Core Debit Product organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh PA, Strongsville OH or Dallas TX. A Software Developer Associate will assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. This role assists in the development, testing, and implementation of software solutions, including designing software solutions, writing code, testing and deploying software, preparing technical and procedural documentation, and maintaining and debugging software.

Requirements

Basic programming experience in one or more languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
Understanding of software development fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms).
Familiarity with databases and basic SQL.
Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
University / college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
