Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, and five (5) years of experience working as a Software Developer or related position.
• Experience must include working with the following: COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, Omni Scripting, and IBM Clearcase; Linux and Shell Scripting; Operating Systems/Platforms: Widows; FIS Omniplus, OmniAdminWeb, and OmniStation; Mainframes Debugger/Microfocus Animator; SQL/PL; IBM Tivoli Work Scheduler (TWS), and Service Now.

Responsibilities

• Perform Requirement analysis and Design, Build, Unit test code components for Interfaces of OMNIPLUS Retirement Record keeping Admin Engine and peripheral applications.
• Create/Modify COBOL, Omni Calculators and Omni Scripts to customize or control Processing in OMNIPLUS Admin Engine environment.
• Perform Extraction, Analysis and Build routines to migrate retirement plans/clients data to Voya's latest Retirement record keeping platform.
• Design and build customization/enhancements to Retirement Record Keeping Admin Engine-Omniplus to facilitate Plan provisions and rules as part of Voya's Platform Consolidation Program as well new business Clients/Plans implementations.
• Serve as the highest-level technical expert, resolving problems of systems integration, compatibility, performance potentially across multiple platforms.
• Provide feasibility analysis on potential projects and Facilitate continues process improvements within team.
• Build and maintain systems based on applications architectures to improve business processes and in alignment/support of critical business strategies.
• Assess the business and organizational implications of key application technology alternatives for wide-impact initiatives to recommend appropriate strategic action.
• Determine organizational impact of software maintenance issues and develop overall strategy to address them.
