About The Position

The F-35 Sensor Fusion team is seeking an emerging Software Architect to join our team in developing the next generation of sensor fusion software. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, modeling, analyzing, and testing fusion software and architecture as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into Fusion applications. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience with C++, C#, OOP, OOD, Design Patterns, Clean Architecture, and Test Driven Development
  • Prior Real Time Operating System (RTOS) development experience including managing concurrency, threads, scheduling, semaphores, and queues/buffers - (Windows & Linux)
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
  • Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated architectural experience working in large codebases, service-based architectures, microservices, and/or component-based architectures
  • Experience with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) such as UCI, FACE, VICTORY, AMS GRA, etc is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
