About The Position

Join the Kinetic IT team as a Systems Engineer focused on the SOE environment! This is a fantastic chance to support one of our enterprise-class customers within our infrastructure team, delivering both operational and project services. In this role, you’ll handle SOE packaging, task sequencing, and the administration and support of Windows 10 and 11. Your expertise will play a crucial part in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our technology solutions, all while collaborating in a dynamic and engaging team. Requirements

  • Proven experience managing Windows SOE environments using Intune and SCCM in an enterprise setting
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint configuration, Group Policy, and device compliance within Windows environments
  • Demonstrated experience in application packaging, task sequencing, and large-scale software deployments via SCCM/Intune
  • Strong scripting capability in PowerShell for automation, deployment, and configuration management
  • Experience maintaining Windows desktop images, patching, and OS upgrades
  • Solid understanding of endpoint security controls and best practices
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and working within structured service environments
  • Current active AGSVA Government Security clearance (due to customer security requirements)

Responsibilities

  • The design, build and maintain Windows SOE environments using Intune and SCCM across enterprise endpoints
  • Manage endpoint configuration, Group Policy, and device compliance to ensure secure and standardised Windows environments
  • Package, deploy and manage applications at scale via SCCM and Intune, including task sequencing and software distribution
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell-driven automation for Windows deployments, patching and configuration management
  • Maintain and optimise Windows desktop images, patching, and upgrades while aligning with security standards and ITIL processes
