About The Position
This position provides psychosocial assessment and intervention, discharge planning, advocacy, consultation, education, community linkage, and supportive services for referred families and patients during their inpatient admission to the behavioral health unit.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in social work from an accredited school of social work or in a human services field including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling or psychology
- Knowledge/ability to assess and utilize community resources
- Minimum of 1 year supervised social work experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting working directly with individuals
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
Nice To Haves
- Masters degree from an accredited school of social work
- Current Pennsylvania licensure
