About The Position

Social Services is now accepting applications to be considered for a Full-Time Social Worker in the Disability Services and Licensing Unit. This is open to current Clay County Social Workers only. Date Posted : 12/15/2025 Application Deadline : 12/22/2025 at 9:00am Salary Range: $32.08 - $45.25 per hour This position will be eligible for Clay County’s benefit package. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or closely related field.
1-3 years prior work-related experience
Valid driver’s license
Must be a current Clay County Social Worker
Successfully complete a background investigation
If you are an eligible military veteran and wish to claim Veteran’s Preference, you must present a legible photocopy of your DD214 form to the Office of Human Resources.
All veterans who are certified will be considered for appointment.

Responsibilities

Complete MnChoices Assessments for individuals currently accessing Home and Community Based waivered services and state planned services.
Coordinate with a person’s case manager and external providers to ensure a thorough and accurate assessment is completed.
Complete required documentation by preparing and maintaining all case records.
Maintain eligibility as a certified assessor by completing mandatory and non-mandatory training.
Other duties as assigned.
