We are always looking for driven, enthusiastic people to join our team. $750 Sign-On Bonus (restrictions may apply) Summary Provide oversight for the successful operation of the Department of Job and Family services Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCMEP) and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) contracts and other contracts as assigned. Serve as primary liaison and point of contact for contracting departments and funding sources in various counties throughout Ohio. Supervise personnel as assigned and assure provision of efficient and effective services that meet or exceed contractual obligations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation, Psychology, and Sociology, Education or related social services field or minimum 7 years of experience in similar position.
  • Previous experience in vocational service delivery or similar occupation and supervision.

  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to Goodwill’s liability insurance provider.

Responsibilities

  • Establish priorities necessary to attain objectives as established in the annual GESMV Goals and three-year Strategic Plan.
  • Assist with establishing annual budget. Review financials regularly. Maintain revenue and expenses within established budget. Meet established Net from Operating goal annually.
  • Meet or exceed contractual obligations for service delivery.
  • Maintain and audit all records, including those of sub-contractors if applicable, to assure adherence with contract obligations.
  • Manage coordination of services with Department of Job and Family Services, school systems, employment networks, and non-profit partners in various counties across Ohio.
  • Oversee relationship with sub-contractors, if applicable, to assure delivery of effective and efficient services, evaluate (on-going) the ability of sub-contractors to meet stated obligations, maintain proper documentation and provide proper reporting.
  • Oversee placement coordination efforts for CCMEP participants to assure contractual obligations are met.
  • Assure development of unpaid and paid work experience sites needed to fulfill service obligations.
  • Monitor workload to achieve maximum effectiveness, skill utilization and employee motivation.
  • Assure staff adhere to all requirements related to specific funding sources. Maintain necessary records, submit weekly reports as required and providing input to referral sources regarding individual progress. Provide weekly and monthly reports to Quality Assurance. Ensures that paperwork is in compliance with GESMV guidelines and regulations. Monitor case records and report generation to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Act as a primary liaison with County agencies regarding CCMEP and WIOA services; assure active communication regarding contracts. Maintain a positive relationship with personnel of County agencies to the extent that mutual problems can be resolved and services adapted to meet the individual needs of common clientele.
  • Develop professional relationships with key organizational and community stakeholders through individual presentations, meetings, and other avenues to maintain ongoing contact.
  • Assist Senior Leadership in identifying organizational and community meetings, task forces, or other ongoing meetings requiring GESMV representation. Attend meetings as assigned.
  • Discuss new, precedent, or unusual situations or assignments with staff and suggest methods or outline approaches for particularly difficult problems.
  • Provide advice, counsel and instruction on work and administrative matters to staff.
  • Inform staff regarding new and changing policies, regulations and directions pertinent to their job duties.
  • Evaluate staff performance and discuss performance and work improvement with Senior Leadership. Identify and develop correction plans and training needs; communicate them to the Director, assuming primary responsibility to meet those needs.
  • Administer the personnel and safety policies of the Agency so that each participant of the Program is treated consistently and fairly and that each has a maximum opportunity for personal, vocational and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work area and maintain same to meet CARF, HIPAA, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.
