About The Position

Our Social Responsibility (SR) Consultant role is a unique opportunity to bring the LEGO brand vision and mission to life to create impact for LEGO employees and children in local communities! Please Note: No relocation assistance is offered for this position. The role can be based out of our new Boston HUB location at 1001 Boylston Street. Our hybrid working model is 3 days office/2 days home weekly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
  • Ability to design and tailor programs and events to achieve goals.
  • Collaboration skills, working cross-functionally and with external partners.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with shown facilitation and training skills.
  • Effective communicator for reports and presentations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, prioritization, and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Volunteer Strategy, Portfolio & Partnerships Develop and deliver a diverse portfolio of volunteer activities and events that bring to bear employees' skills, interests, and passions to encourage builders of tomorrow through play.
  • Execute program strategy and implementation in line with the evolving global volunteer strategy in partnership with the Social Responsibility Manager.
  • Be the main point of contact for employees and community groups, fielding inquiries and supporting employees as they navigate our volunteer programs.
  • Ensure all employees are aware of, and apply their two volunteer days per year.
  • Ensure alignment with safety and child protection guidelines.
  • Lead aspects of Americas volunteer programs outside of Boston, including office committees, communications coordination, partner management, and overall systems and processes.
  • Communications, Events & Engagement Lead all volunteer-related communications - both promotional and logistical.
  • Plan and coordinate special events like Community Impact Month and Play Day, working with the Social Responsibility Manager.
  • Support the rollout of volunteer platforms, like YourCause - answer questions, marketing for colleagues, and support adoption.
  • Lead Matching Gifts, Dollars for Doers, and local initiatives such as fundraising drives, and holiday events.
  • Provide miscellaneous Social Responsibility support for the Americas, including our Playful Learning Museum Network Community of Practice and operational support for programs and pilots, and other tasks assigned.
  • Budget, Administration & Reporting Own the volunteer and community budget, being responsible for costs, donations, and grants related to volunteering.
  • Coordinate volunteer planning, registration, and reporting activities.
  • Ensure adherence to reporting standards required by internal processes and external audits.
