About The Position

Mediassociates is a leading independent media planning, buying and analytics agency located in Fairfield County, Connecticut. We are expanding our team and seeking a Social Media Strategist experienced in PAID SOCIAL MEDIA ADVERTISING to contribute to social media strategy development, campaign research & ideation, in-flight campaign/metric optimization, project management, content publishing, vendor management, and develop strong client relationships as a member of the digital media team. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our ever-growing social team at Mediassociates and will have proven experience across PAID social media advertising platforms, influencer marketing, social listening, paid social tools and analytics systems. Proven paid social success developing strategies, testing, implementation and analyzing performance. Experience aligning with broader social strategies including owned content, UGC, social listening and influencer activation. Culture is a core focus of our agency, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about paid social advertising and the desire to foster a positive team and agency culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in development, planning, activation, management, optimization, and measurement of paid social media and influencer campaigns based on client goals and KPIs.
  • Strong in-platform experience across major social platforms including (but not limited to): Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, X, Snap, Pinterest, and social listening platforms.
  • Proven knowledge of social media vendor and platform capabilities, integrations, and measurement capabilities.
  • Knowledge of industry best-practices and emerging platform trends.
  • Proven ability to integrate social media campaigns with organic content strategy, influencer activation and other digital and offline paid advertising activities.
  • Clear communication is required. Strong visualization and conceptual skills a plus. Experience presenting as a part of a group is imperative.
  • Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a fun, dynamic, collaborative team culture.

Nice To Haves

  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, execute, QA and optimize campaigns across all paid social channels (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, X, Snap, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Build and implement paid social media advertising strategy via client research, competitive research, social listening, platform evaluation, audience research and creative strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other media planning, media buying, ad operations and analytics departments to provide sound, research-based campaign strategies, plans and implementation approaches that drive tangible client business impact.
  • Leverage data-driven approach to analyze campaign performance and derive insights and strategic recommendations to improve KPIs.
  • Advise in-house and external creative partners in best practices for creating content (video, image & text, etc.) to achieve campaign goals.
