About The Position

We are a fast-growing fleet charter operator redefining private aviation through data-driven efficiency, modern aircraft, and owner-focused profitability. The Social Media Specialist will own and elevate Jet Excellence’s presence on social platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, leveraging these channels to strengthen trust and long‑term relationships with passengers, clients, regulators, employees, and the communities we serve. In this role, you will develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy that primarily (1) enhances overall brand awareness, (2) brings our company culture to life through compelling, authentic storytelling, and (3) drives our recruiting pipeline by showcasing career paths and employee experience in a way that attracts high‑caliber talent who align with our values.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.
  • Demonstrated experience using social media for business branding or recruiting.
  • Proficiency with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone across platforms.
  • Basic video editing skills for Reels/short-form content.
  • Ability to translate the company’s brand and culture into compelling narratives that build awareness and differentiate the company through stories about people, operations, and impact.
  • Demonstrated skills in audience engagement and online community building, representing the brand’s voice consistently and professionally.
  • Strong data-driven optimization and collaboration skills to align content with broader business goals and hiring priorities.
  • Self-starter, comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

  • Aviation industry knowledge or interest is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic social media content calendar across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram that supports brand awareness, culture storytelling, and talent outreach.
  • Write engaging, platform-appropriate copy and source/create visuals including (photos, graphics, and short-form video.
  • Create and curate compelling employee stories, day-in-the-life features, company milestones, and behind-the-scenes content to bring culture to life and strengthen connections with current and prospective employees.
  • Partner with HR to create compelling recruitment-focused content that spotlights key roles and career opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership/hiring managers to prioritize key roles and coordinate amplification of posts from leadership/hiring managers profiles.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and engagement across all platforms.
  • Track and analyze key metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, application attribution) and report monthly.
  • Stay current on social media trends, aviation industry content, and recruitment marketing best practices.
