About The Position

To be an employee of Live! Casino Virginia, you must 21 years of age or over. Why We Need Your Talents: With our rapid projected expansion, the Live! Casino & Hotel Brand is searching for the right talent to grow with the organization and help drive our future success. The primary responsibility of this role of this individual is to drive social media best practices for a growing casino brand that does not follow the status quo and wants to stand out of the crowd. This position will require in depth knowledge of social media best practices: building paid campaigns and budget management, tracking, optimizing, and reporting on performance, and content ideation. and organic posting strategies from concept, execution and optimizations based on data analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is typically preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing; experience in the gaming or hospitality industry is a major plus.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media management platforms.
  • Ability to work extended hours across all shifts in a 24/7 work environment.
  • You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
  • Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs., bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods of time; climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.
  • Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.

  • Experience with a Social Media platform such as; Hootsuite or Sprout Social
  • Knowledge of Photoshop preferred
  • Must be able to travel

Responsibilities

  • Content Management: Develop, schedule, and publish daily engaging content (copy, photos, and video) across major platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn.
  • Community Engagement: Act as the "voice" of the casino by responding to follower comments, answering inquiries, and monitoring online reviews in a timely, professional manner.
  • Digital Campaigns: Execute targeted social media campaigns to promote casino events, gaming promotions, and dining offers, often collaborating with other department
  • Performance Tracking: Utilize analytics tools (such as Sprout Social) to monitor engagement metrics and report results to management.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all digital assets align with the brand standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Conceive and pitch creative ideas across all marketing channels.
  • Demonstrate outstanding organizational skills to actively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, all while in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
  • Performs all other duties as required.
