The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, one to two years of experience in social media marketing with demonstrated successes; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement social and digital media content strategies that align with the goals of SCHEELS and its key vendors
Performance Optimization: Analyze data and customer sentiment to provide actionable recommendations that increase reach, engagement, web traffic, and conversions
Industry Knowledge: Passion for sports and athletics with an interest in staying on-top of industry trends, current events and news related to the sports category
Customer Service: Deliver premier service to both internal teams and social followers through professional, timely, and authentic community engagement
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with merchandising, buying, and marketing offices to execute cohesive promotions, contests, and integrated digital campaigns
Decision-Making: Exercise professional judgment and tact when addressing project needs and working with all levels of the organization
Campaign Governance: Oversee campaign management to ensure all messaging aligns with brand standards and meets high-level approval requirements
Platform Expertise: Maintain advanced knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing best practices to serve as the brand voice across channels including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
Content Management: Research, create, and schedule high-quality content, ensuring the effective distribution of "SCHEELS Expert" assets across all marketing channels
Operational Excellence: Ability to be organized, multi-task, and maintain all aspects of social media
