The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating, administering, and optimizing content across all social media platforms to grow audience engagement and strengthen brand awareness. This role reports to the Digital Marketing Manager on the Marketing & Communications Team. This position requires a performance-driven marketer who makes data-informed decisions, leverages emerging technologies (including AI-powered tools), and implements scalable growth strategies with efficiency and measurable ROI in mind. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of social media ecosystems, market development, industry trends, and artificial intelligence applications within digital marketing. This role is based in our Plano, TX office on a hybrid schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of experience managing social media platforms and paid social campaigns
- In-Depth Knowledge Of:
- Publishing and advertising across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and Pinterest
- Bid management tools, ad-serving technologies, and marketing automation platforms
- AI-powered content creation tools, social listening platforms, predictive analytics tools, and marketing intelligence systems
- Research methodologies, competitive analysis, and social media reporting/diagnostic tools (Meta, Snapchat, Signal Insights, Falcon, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills appropriate for various levels of management
- Deep understanding of digital consumer behavior, mobile-first engagement patterns, and data privacy considerations in AI-driven marketing
Nice To Haves
- Experience with producing and managing social media campaigns in financial services or a heavily regulated industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Designs and executes high-quality organic and paid social media content aligned with established strategies, branding guidelines, and business objectives.
- Leverages AI-powered tools to support content ideation, copy drafting, audience analysis, predictive performance modeling, and campaign optimization while maintaining brand voice and compliance standards.
- Conducts market research to identify social media best practices, emerging trends, competitor strategies, and AI-driven innovations.
- Builds and executes comprehensive social media strategies through competitor research, platform evaluation, benchmarking, audience segmentation, and performance forecasting.
- Tracks, analyzes, and interprets campaign metrics to gain insights into traffic, demographics, engagement, and conversion effectiveness using both traditional analytics tools and AI-enhanced reporting systems.
- Utilizes internal data, business intelligence platforms, and AI-driven audience modeling to develop and refine segmentation and targeting strategies that drive measurable conversions.
- Ensures flawless execution of all paid social media campaign setups, launches, A/B testing, and analytical deliverables, incorporating automation and optimization technologies where appropriate.
- Collaborates with the Compliance team to ensure all social media content includes required legal disclaimers and aligns with business goals, regulatory standards, and brand positioning.
- Identifies and evaluates new growth opportunities within and beyond current strategies, including testing emerging platforms and AI-enabled marketing technologies.
- Serves as a subject matter expert by continuously building knowledge of social media trends, algorithm changes, AI advancements, targeting strategies, and competitor activities.
- Continuously improves processes and controls by incorporating automation and AI efficiencies while ensuring adherence to corporate policies and mitigating operational and reputational risks.
- Monitors and enforces branding standards and logo usage policies across all content.
- Creates and drafts advertising and localized content across all social media platforms for Republic Finance, utilizing AI responsibly to enhance productivity while maintaining creative oversight and brand integrity.
