We’re looking for a creative, self-motivated Social Media Specialist to manage and execute social media content across multiple platforms. This contracted role will support brand awareness, customer engagement, and marketing initiatives while maintaining consistent brand standards.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Strong creative skills with a consistent focus on brand voice, tone, and visual standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with employees to support authentic, on-camera content.
  • Experience using ChatGPT, CapCut, and other content creation, editing, and video production tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage Monday–Friday social media content across all platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Ensure all social media posts are submitted for review and approval by the Brand Manager prior to posting.
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely, professional manner.
  • Proactively engage users by inviting individuals who interact with posts to follow Staley Electric’s social media channels.
  • Attend company meetings, events, and customer job sites as needed to capture photo and video content for future use.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar aligned with targeted services, seasonal messaging, promotions, and brand awareness goals.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of a monthly email newsletter targeted to existing customers.
  • Coordinate customer retention touchpoint initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content accuracy, brand consistency, and timely delivery.
