About The Position

Purpose Financial is seeking an innovative, passionate Social Media Performance Manager to join our marketing team. Reporting to Performance Marketing Director, the Social Media Performance Manager will develop and execute social media channel strategies that drive customer acquisition. This role will manage our social media presence, execute paid social campaigns, and analyze performance to optimize results. The Social Media Performance Manager will also assist in the development of promotional campaigns, inclusive of user-generated content initiatives and influencer marketing. The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with brand marketing and local store marketing teams. Ideal candidate has proven track record for launching and growing new social media channels and strategies using a disciplined, data-driven approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing
  • Proven track record of growing social media engagement and driving measurable performance results (ROAS) across channels including, but not limited to, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest
  • Experience planning and executing paid social media campaigns
  • Experience with influencer marketing and user-generated content strategies
  • Experience developing and managing referral marketing programs
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in social media analytics tools
  • Experience with social media management platforms (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, etc.)
  • Understanding of FTC guidelines and compliance requirements for influencer marketing
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Adaptability to changing digital landscapes and platform updates
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media channel strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives across existing channels (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn), as well as strategically expand to additional social media channels (TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, etc.)
  • Design an optimal social media marketing toolkit. Vet existing tools and onboard new ones. Manage vendor relationships
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to inform social media strategy
  • Collaborate closely with the brand marketing team to balance performance with engaging content, including user generated, across both organic and paid social
  • Publish approved content across all social media platforms
  • Moderate/ engage with social commentary
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Manage social advertising budgets and allocate resources effectively
  • Implement various ad formats, targeting options, and messaging strategies
  • Monitor campaign performance and make real-time adjustments to maximize ROI
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Contribute to promotional campaign strategy development to ensure focus on customer acquisition and engagement at local and national level
  • Work in concert with agency partnerships to execute influencer marketing strategies and performance
  • Partner with local store marketing teams to develop and implement local social strategies
  • Provide training and support to local marketing teams on social media best practices
  • Coordinate national and local social media initiatives for maximum impact
  • Grow existing referral incentive programs that are promoted by stores and through digital marketing, including social
  • Create targeted social media strategies to support business partnership initiatives
  • Establish metrics and tracking systems to measure referral program success
  • Optimize referral messaging and user experience based on performance data
  • Collaborate with CRM teams to integrate social referral programs with existing customer journeys
  • Track and analyze social media metrics and KPIs using analytics tools, inclusive of influencer and referral partnerships
  • Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize content performance
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve social media effectiveness
