About The Position

Evening Entertainment Group (EEG) is seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist who is a highly motivated self-starter who embodies both a passion for the entertainment industry and a love of creating and designing social media platforms. This is not a remote position.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field
At least 2 years proven experience in social media marketing or a similar role
Strong understanding of various social media platforms
Strong creative skills to develop engaging and innovative content that resonates with the target audience
A customer-focused mindset with the ability to engage and build relationships with online communities

Responsibilities

Assist in managing timelines for campaigns, promotions, events, and partnerships
Maintain and update marketing calendars and campaign trackers
Coordinate with venue managers, partners, and internal departments to gather required information and assets.
Schedule and publish content according to approved calendars and direction
Monitor engagement and notify the Social Media Manager of noteworthy activity
Assist with gathering photo/video content from venues
Support rollouts for ticketed events, seasonal campaigns, and special promotions
Assist in updating landing pages, event listings, and third-party platforms
Track required posts, tags and deadlines
Help compile recap metrics and reports
Maintain organized digital asset libraries
Keep documentation of campaign plans and recaps
Respond to internal communications promptly during work hours
Provide clear updates on task status and timelines
Offer weekend or after-hours support during major campaign events
