About The Position

Turning Point for God is the broadcast ministry of Dr. David Jeremiah and exists to deliver the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world. Using Dr. Jeremiah’s teaching, we capture, curate, and communicate Bible Strong content through the power of media to share the Gospel with theological and creative excellence. Dr. Jeremiah is committed to teaching the entirety of God’s Word to the world, and his teaching is delivered in multiple languages to approximately 3 billion people across the globe through Turning Point’s various media channels. To accomplish this mission, more than two hundred staff across various disciplines are committed to sharing the Gospel and Bible Strong teaching through Turning Point. Position Summary: The Social Media Marketing Coordinator reports directly to and works collaboratively with the Digital Marketing Manager. This position involves an overall contribution to managing social media communications for Turning Point. This includes aiding with the content creation/curation, scheduling, engagement, budgeting, managing, strategy, promotion, and execution of all social media on various platforms. This person will also engage in the promotion and distribution of the David Jeremiah blog.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge with major social media platforms and strategies for audience engagement using a customer-service mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of staff, vendors, media partners, and the public.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt quickly, and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong aesthetic judgment with an understanding of current design and social media trends, applied in alignment with the Turning Point brand.
  • Exceptional attention to detail; highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to stay focused, meet deadlines, and handle frequent interruptions with professionalism.
  • Sound discretion and good judgment when interacting with staff at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently while contributing effectively as a team player.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools, such as Slack.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn quickly.
  • Must be a like-minded believer and share our passion to deliver the unchanging Word of God to an ever-changing world

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience managing social media platforms for a business organization is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Christian ministry preferred.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience with Google Ads Manager preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing content creation, curation and management of social media platforms.
  • The ability to create images that are trending and aesthetically pleasing with the design and brand of Turning Point.
  • Scheduling and monitoring of social media posts.
  • Oversee community management and engagement to keep Turning Point supporters connected to the ministry.
  • Digital brand management, including representing the Turning Point brand in online forums and reputation/crisis management.
  • Measurement and reporting of progress, achievements, revenue, and goals within the social media and blog realm.
  • Research of online social media trends, advancements, and opportunities to implement into social media platforms to increase the overall following and revenue of Turning Point.
  • Coordinate with the Digital Marketing Manager about well performing posts to boost via ads.
  • Other duties as assigned.
