About The Position

Dan-O’s is social at its core. It’s who we are. Not “we post sometimes”- real, conversation-starting, results driven social that results in billions of brand impressions and fan engagements. We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who knows why content works, not just what to post. This person will lead with strategy and knows how to execute it end-to-end. and knows how to tell a Dan-good story through the lens of social. This role owns the strategic execution of our social presence: turning insights into plans, plans into content, and content into measurable impact. You’ll be responsible for the why, how, and what behind our social-using data, cultural awareness, and creative instincts to guide bold ideas that actually perform. You’ll partner closely with creative and marketing teams to bring strategies to life across platforms, optimize in real time, and continuously evolve how Dan-O’s shows up in culture. If you love building smart plans, launching big ideas, and sweating the details that make content win, this role is for you. Due to the nature of the Social Media environment and the responsibilities of this role there will be some required after-hours, weekend, and holiday support at times.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with social media analytics tools and platforms & B2C social posting
  • 4–7 years of experience in B2C social media; Your personal social media use is NOT a replacement for this requirement
  • Proven experience using analytics to guide creative and strategic decisions.
  • Strong understanding of major social platforms, especially video-first ecosystems.
  • Experience collaborating closely with creative teams and/or agencies.
  • Comfort balancing long-term strategy with fast-moving execution.
  • Social native- understand internet culture intuitively and know how brands earn attention

Responsibilities

  • Ensure strong, consistent execution across posting cadence, content flow, and platform best practices.
  • Work closely with internal teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver high-performing social content.
  • Protect and evolve the Dan-O’s voice across posts, Fan-O interactions, and community management; you will manage the internal community manager and be the administrator of our social tools and systems
  • Stay relentlessly curious about platform updates, creator trends, algorithm shifts, and new formats.
  • Collaborate deeply with the creative team to shape ideas that are culturally relevant and strategically sound.
  • Help ideate concepts, formats, and series that can live natively and win on social
  • Connect creative ambition to audience behavior and performance realities of our platforms
  • Define, track, and own social media KPIs and overall brand impact.
  • Regularly analyze performance and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Deliver insights that help leadership and creative teams understand what’s working and why.
  • Build a true test-and-learn mindset: our channels are never “set it and forget it.”
  • Own Dan-O’s organic social media strategy across all brand channels and platforms.
  • Turn brand goals into clear strategies, content pillars, and platform-specific game plans.
  • Use data, trends, and cultural insight to guide what we say, how we say it, and where it shows up.
