About The Position

This role is designed for a strategic and creative social media professional who will lead the development and execution of social strategies across multiple platforms. The Social Media Manager will build authentic communities, drive thought leadership, and shape the brand’s voice to engage specialized professional audiences effectively. You will create compelling content, oversee community engagement, and activate employees as brand advocates, while analyzing performance to optimize impact. This position requires a balance of creative storytelling, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative work across cross-functional marketing teams. Remote flexibility is offered, with potential hybrid engagement in key office locations. Your contributions will directly influence brand perception, engagement, and pipeline development in a fast-paced B2B environment.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of B2B social media experience, with a proven track record of building engaged communities and driving business results.
  • Expertise in LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Reddit, and YouTube, with platform-specific strategy and content skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media advertising and content performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience capturing and editing high-quality video and photo content.
  • Proficiency with social media management and content creation tools such as Buffer, Sprout, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite basics.
  • Exceptional storytelling, copywriting, and brand voice development skills.
  • Experience developing and managing employee advocacy programs.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging content for professional audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to use data to inform decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with private capital markets (VC/PE) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Reddit, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
  • Build and nurture authentic communities and thought leadership presence within target professional circles.
  • Create and produce engaging social-first content, including graphics, short videos, infographics, and written copy.
  • Capture high-quality video and photo content at events, interviews, and day-to-day activities, performing light editing when necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Content Marketing, and Sales—to align content with strategic goals.
  • Activate employee advocacy programs to amplify social reach and brand messaging.
  • Monitor, respond to, and manage community interactions, ensuring professional and authentic engagement.
  • Track and report social media performance metrics, conduct A/B testing, and optimize strategies to maximize engagement and ROI.
