About The Position

As a key member of the Brand Marketing team, the Social Media Manager will lead the development and execution of Baggallini’s social media strategy during a pivotal period of brand evolution. This role is both strategic and highly hands-on, responsible for creating compelling in-house content, driving influencer partnerships, and building scalable social commerce programs. This individual will both manage strategy and personally concept, shoot, edit, and publish short-form content in-house across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms. The Social Media Manager must be comfortable operating as a content creator—developing trend-forward, platform-native video and lifestyle content that resonates with modern audiences while remaining aligned with brand standards. The Social Media Manager will also own influencer sourcing and content acquisition through both paid partnerships and gifting programs, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-quality creator content. In addition, this role will establish and scale Baggallini’s ShopMy affiliate program, leveraging creator relationships to drive measurable revenue growth. A critical component of this role is deep expertise in TikTok, including leading the setup and launch of TikTok Shop. This includes coordinating product integration, enabling creators, driving live and shoppable content, and optimizing for conversion within the platform. The ideal candidate is creative, entrepreneurial, and performance-minded—equally comfortable behind the camera, in analytics dashboards, and negotiating influencer partnerships.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • 4+ years of experience managing and creating social media content for retail or consumer brands, preferably in fashion or accessories.
  • Proven experience concepting, filming, editing, and publishing short-form video content in-house (TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of social-first storytelling and platform-native content creation.
  • Demonstrated success securing and managing influencer partnerships across both paid collaborations and gifting programs.
  • Experience building or scaling affiliate programs; ShopMy experience strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience launching or managing TikTok Shop or other social commerce platforms strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing marketing or influencer budgets, with ability to track spend, forecast needs, and evaluate ROI.
  • Strong understanding of social commerce, affiliate marketing models, and performance-based partnerships.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, generative AI content tools, video editing AI features, analytics automation tools) to enhance content ideation, streamline workflows, and improve performance.
  • Comfort experimenting with and integrating emerging AI technologies into content creation, trend analysis, influencer sourcing, and reporting processes.
  • Proficiency in short-form video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, in-app editing tools).
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret engagement, traffic, and revenue metrics to inform strategy.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, creator relationships, timelines, logistics, and sample coordination simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally with Marketing, E-commerce, Merchandising, and Operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • In-House Social Content Creation Concept, shoot, edit, and publish short-form video and lifestyle content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other emerging platforms.
  • Create trend-driven, product-focused, and storytelling content aligned with brand positioning.
  • Develop platform-native content that balances brand storytelling with cultural relevance.
  • Film product demonstrations, styling videos, educational content, and behind-the-scenes footage as needed.
  • Edit content using mobile and desktop tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, in-app editing tools).
  • Manage content calendars and daily publishing schedules.
  • Engage with community comments and DMs to foster brand engagement.
  • Influencer & Creator Partnerships Identify, recruit, and manage influencers through paid partnerships and gifting initiatives.
  • Develop creative briefs to guide content while maintaining creator authenticity.
  • Negotiate deliverables, timelines, and usage rights.
  • Secure usage rights for amplification and repurposing across paid and owned channels.
  • Track and report on influencer performance metrics.
  • ShopMy Program Ownership Launch, manage, and scale Baggallini’s ShopMy affiliate program.
  • Recruit and onboard creators into the affiliate program.
  • Optimize commission structures and incentives.
  • Monitor performance and drive revenue growth through affiliate relationships.
  • TikTok Strategy & TikTok Shop Lead TikTok strategy with deep understanding of trends, algorithms, and content formats.
  • Set up and launch TikTok Shop in partnership with E-commerce and Operations.
  • Coordinate product uploads, tagging, and shoppable integrations.
  • Drive conversion through live selling, creator content, and trend-based product storytelling.
  • Analytics & Optimization Track and analyze engagement, growth, traffic, and revenue metrics.
  • Evaluate ROI across influencer partnerships, ShopMy affiliates, and TikTok Shop initiatives.
  • Provide monthly reporting with actionable insights.
  • Test and iterate content strategies to improve performance.
  • Identify scalable content opportunities based on data.
  • Own and manage the social and influencer marketing budget, including forecasting, tracking spend, and optimizing allocation based on performance.
  • Logistics, Marketing Samples & Operational Support Coordinate and manage marketing sample inventory for influencer seeding, content creation, and photoshoot/campaign needs.
  • Track sample requests, shipments, returns, and inventory levels to ensure efficient allocation.
  • Oversee gifting logistics, including packaging coordination and shipment tracking.
  • Support PR efforts.
  • Own and manage social, influencer, and gifting budget.
