About The Position

beehiiv is the all-in-one newsletter and creator platform powering the next generation of media companies and independent voices. We help creators and businesses launch, grow, and monetize newsletters—now serving tens of thousands of publishers and reaching hundreds of millions of readers monthly. As we approach $25M in ARR and continue to grow more than 100% YoY, our expanded product suite (featuring our ad network, website builder, and paid tiers) positions us for the next stage of hypergrowth. Social is one of our highest-leverage distribution channels, and we’re hiring a Social Media Lead to own it end-to-end—from idea to execution to measurement. You’ll own the voice of beehiiv across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and emerging platforms, shaping how we show up, what we say, and how we engage with our audience. You’ll set the creative strategy, work closely with design (and mock things up yourself), and clearly report on performance. At its core, this role is about crafting and amplifying stories that highlight our product innovation, spotlight our people and customers, and connect our brand to the conversations shaping media, publishing, and technology today.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years owning social media for a high-growth SaaS company
  • Proven ability to translate complex products into clear, compelling narratives
  • Strong pulse on platform-level trends, with the ability to move quickly as new opportunities emerge
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with growth, product, and technical stakeholders
  • Experience scaling founder-led or exec-led social accounts
  • Comfort with using engagement data to inform decisions and iterate
  • Strong bias toward action, experimentation, and shipping

Responsibilities

  • Owning beehiiv’s social presence end-to-end across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and emerging channels
  • Developing and executing against a clear social strategy tied to business goals (signups, pipeline, brand lift)
  • Building a strategy to engage and scale internal employee advocacy
  • Turning product launches, data insights, and customer stories into high-performing social content
  • Partnering with our founding team and internal SMEs to create founder-led and expert-driven content
  • Running experiments on formats, hooks, cadence, and distribution to improve reach and engagement
  • Managing freelancers or agencies as needed (video, design, editing)
  • Tracking performance across the funnel: attribution, assisted conversions, and downstream impact
