About The Position

Pride Motor Group is seeking a part-time Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team and leverage the power of our various social media platforms to drive impact and growth. The Social Media Manager for Pride Motor Group will support our teams by managing our YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook channels while setting the broader social media marketing strategy. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, creativity, organizational skills, and the technical aptitude to grasp the basics of the automotive dealership industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise social media management, a strong work ethic, and a professional and engaging presence in front of the camera.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms for an automotive company
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices and platform-specific audience engagement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Serve as quality control for all content published on the social media channels
  • Ability to create visually appealing content using basic graphic design tools if needed. An eye for what works is more important than being able to do it all yourself
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • The ideal candidate is not only talented at organizing themselves, but creating organizational structure that is transparent and intuitive for others to navigate
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure, with shifting deadlines and by leveraging creativity and ingenuity

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Sprout Social
  • Experience with basic video editing software such as Vimeo or Wistia. Adobe Creative Suite proficiency is a plus
  • Experience leveraging AI to automate workflows or drive operational efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure social media campaigns support broader advertising, website, and email marketing initiatives.
  • Produce and execute creative social media campaigns, including promotional content, behind-the-scenes videos, sales event promotions, and dealership culture highlights etc.
  • Appear comfortably on camera to create authentic, engaging video content that showcases vehicles, promotions, and dealership personality.
  • Encourage and coordinate team participation in social media content, helping sales and service staff get involved in videos and posts.
  • Shoot high-quality photo and video content using professional tools such as lapel microphones, gimbals, and smartphone camera equipment.
  • Edit short-form and long-form video content optimized for social platforms using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, and CapCut.
  • Manage the content calendar, ensuring consistent posting and alignment with dealership promotions, sales events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor social media performance metrics including reach, engagement, and video views, and adjust strategy to improve results.
  • Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and viral content formats to keep dealership content fresh and competitive.
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with dealership marketing goals to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Develop, message, and implement a consistent written and visual voice and tone for Pride Motor Group
  • Curate and organize a consistent pipeline of user-generated Pride Motor Group content for social media platforms
  • Develop a community management strategy for YouTube that addresses customer feedback and pain points in a consistent, timely fashion
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from Marketing, Service, and Sales to create and implement high-performing organic social media campaigns
  • Serve as primary subject matter expert on emerging trends in social media, including but not limited to, impactful algorithm changes, new platforms, and the impact of LLMs on social media strategy
  • Manage and maintain the social media content intake queues and publishing calendars for Autodesk Design and Manufacturing social channels
  • Track and report on social media channel health to assess efficacy and areas for improvement
  • Support in organizing and promoting digital events, including but not limited to, webinars, social media livestreams, and giveaways or promotional offers
