About The Position

Penske Automotive Group is looking for a tech-savvy Social Media Coordinator to join our team and help develop and execute innovative and creative social media strategy for our team. The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring each store's social media content to increase brand awareness and promote customer engagement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; and one to three years of related experience in marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a current and unsuspended motor vehicle license.

  • Passion for social media and video.
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools and different digital media formats.
  • Ability to understand current and future trends with digital content.
  • Knowledge of copyrighting and adhering to PAG social/video policies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree and three to five years' experience in a similar position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and create engaging content for our websites, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and other various platforms.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of video and photo content.
  • Attend events to capture and produce social media content (this may include occasional nights and weekends).
  • Adhere to all brand standards and compliance.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to create a monthly social media calendar.
  • Reviews company reputation across social media platforms and takes steps, both internal and external, to maintain and improve the image of dealerships
