Social Media Content Creator
About The Position
As a Social Media Content Creator, this person will be creating and curating engaging content across all social media platforms, including but not limited to X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. To be successful in this role, this person will have a natural creative flair plus experience live tweeting events (sports preferred) and working across the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop. They will have the opportunity to help develop our social media channels in a rapidly growing industry, working with outside vendors and internal departments to ensure we are leaders in the space. Reporting directly to our Social Media Content Manager, this is an opportunity for someone to have a heavy influence on the content creation process from ideation to publication. They will work alongside a team of other talented Content Creators with a variety of skillsets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in related field
- Expert or Intermediate photoshop skills required.
- An out-of-the-box thinker who is both highly creative and highly decisive.
- Applicants must possess legal authorization to work for our company in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with full Abode Creative Suite preferred.
- Experience in live event coverage preferred.
- Experience in sport or gambling industries preferred.
- An eye for detail and ability to provide objective feedback.
Responsibilities
- Concept, design, and execute high-quality content across all relevant social and digital channels in real-time.
- Produce original content daily that establishes BetMGM as best-in-class.
- Collaborate with team members on planning, ideation, design, and overall workflow.
- Strategize for growth of engagement and following on Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube
- Strong knowledge of sports, sports betting, and otherwise trending topics relevant to our industry
- Curate and develop channel-specific content that drives engagement and reach while maintaining brand voice.
- Responsible for live publishing during key sporting events to capitalize on engagement in social media platforms such as X and Instagram
- Must be available to work nights and weekends.
