About The Position

We are a communitydriven music school dedicated to helping students of all ages discover the joy of learning and playing music. From private lessons and group classes to ensemble programs and live performances, we’re passionate about building confidence, creativity, and a love of music. Our school is energetic, welcoming, and rooted in the local community — and we’re ready to grow our digital presence with someone who shares that passion. We’re looking for a creative and organized Social Media Manager who can capture the heart of our school — students learning, teachers inspiring, families celebrating milestones, and performances bringing the community together. This role includes storytelling, content creation, community engagement, and strategy to help us reach more local families and showcase the amazing things happening in our school every day.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or marketing (experience in arts or education is a bonus)
  • Strong skills in video editing and photo content (Instagram Reels and TikTok especially)
  • Ability to capture candid moments sensitively and respectfully with students
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, TikTok analytics, and social media best practices
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a lively environment with children, parents, and teachers

  • A love for music or the arts is a big plus!

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content calendar highlighting lessons, teachers, student success stories, events, recitals, and behindthescenes moments
  • Capture and create engaging content (photos, videos, reels, stories) during lessons, group classes, and performances
  • Promote upcoming events, registration periods, special programs, and seasonal activities
  • Respond to comments, questions, and messages to nurture our community online
  • Increase brand awareness and drive enrollment through strategic content
  • Analyze performance and adjust strategy to maximize reach and engagement
  • Collaborate with the school director and teaching staff to gather content and share updates
  • Identify opportunities for trends, challenges, musicrelated social moments, and crossplatform growth
  • Build relationships with local families, musicians, and partners online
