About The Position

We’re looking for an energetic Social Media Content Creator to join us in a part-time, 3-month contractor.
You’ll create, edit, and manage engaging content that grabs attention and drives engagement across paid and organic channels. You’ll report to the Director of Content Strategy + Community Engagement and collaborate closely with our fun-loving, fast-moving team.

This role has the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and team needs.

Requirements

• You have 3+ years in content creation and have the track record to prove it.
• You’re fluent in social media with a strong understanding of the nuances of brand social media
• You’re confident behind the camera and in front of it
• You have a reliable setup (+ can travel to utilize our Brooklyn HQ), strong photo + video editing skills, and an eye for aesthetic details
• Proficient in Canva or Figma
• You are high-energy, self-directed, and proactive
• You think in TikToks, Reels, carousels, and comments
• You are community-driven, creating content with an audience-first mindset
• You are a superb storyteller.
• You have a sharp POV, a great sense of humor, and a deep understanding of what makes audiences tap, like, save, and share

Responsibilities

• Pitch content ideas with a strong focus on reach, engagement, and storytelling. Supporting brand growth and community building across Instagram and TikTok
• Create and post multiple pieces of high-quality, aspirational content daily (yes, we mean a lot of content—videos, stills, you name it)
• Be comfortable creating both face-forward and faceless content aka you’re confident speaking, performing, and trying new things on camera
• Edit using mobile tools or scrappy workarounds to make magic from brand assets, UGC, and your own footage
• Collaborate with the team to analyze performance, spot trends, and evolve the content based on learnings
• Use brand content and guidelines to create social assets like IG stories and graphics
