The Opportunity We are seeking a Social Media & Community Outreach Specialist to join our Marketing team in Los Angeles. This is a full time, in person role for a creative and results oriented professional who thrives in both digital and community spaces. You will own our daily social media presence while building authentic relationships across Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. This role connects brand ambassadors, videography production, online engagement, and real world community impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in social media management, community outreach, nonprofit communications, or related work
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, native Spanish preferred
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short form content for a Spanish dominant audience
  • Experience managing content calendars and daily publishing
  • Strong copywriting skills in both English and Spanish
  • Experience tracking analytics and reporting performance metrics
  • Experience coordinating content production and shoot logistics
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • Comfortable working in person within the Latino community in Los Angeles
  • Self directed, organized, and production minded

Responsibilities

  • Manage and publish daily content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
  • Maintain and update the content calendar in coordination with brand ambassadors and the videographer
  • Monitor comments and direct messages with urgency and professionalism
  • Write and optimize captions and hashtags in Spanish and English
  • Track platform performance and provide weekly reporting and insights
  • Identify high performing organic content and recommend scaling opportunities into paid campaigns
  • Coordinate shoot day logistics including scheduling, location booking, and talent preparation
  • Lead on set direction to ensure alignment with brand voice and content strategy
  • Coordinate attorney and case manager appearances for legal authority content
  • Attend community events, church gatherings, nonprofit programs, and local organizations
  • Build and maintain relationships with religious leaders, nonprofit directors, schools, and Spanish language media
  • Develop and track a partnership pipeline with status updates
  • Identify key community moments and opportunities for engagement
