About The Position

As a Social Media/Behavioral Research Analyst, you will be a key differentiator. Our work depends on a Social Media/Behavioral Research Analyst joining our team to provide support to an internet-based social media program in Ft. Bragg, NC. You will be responsible for providing assessments through qualitative and quantitative analyses for internet-based social media activities in a fast-paced, fluid, and highly collaborative work environment. HOW A SOCIAL MEDIA/BEHAVIORAL RESEARCH ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT Provides and leads assessments of internet-based engagements through quantitative analyses that provide insight into program effectiveness. Produces reports for internal and external audiences by consolidating, refining, and presenting data in consumable ways. Develops assessment techniques rooted in social & behavioral research methodology in response to changing requirements. Interacts with team members to clarify assumptions and improve the efficacy of the internet-based social media program. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: Master’s Degree in a Social Science discipline with a specific focus on research methodologies and statistical analysis; significant education and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. Experience: 10+ years of related experience. Security clearance level: Active DoD Secret Clearance required; select candidates will be submitted for an upgrade to TS. Skills and abilities: Intermediate data analysis and extraction skills, intermediate knowledge of database structure and queries, ability to work with unstructured data, and process/clean/verify data. Demonstrated experience with Measures of Effectiveness (MOE) and Measures of Performance (MOP). Superior communication skills. Desired skills include experience in SQL, intermediate data analytics skills (Python, Java, R), and knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Requirements
